Why use a broker? I already have a bank I can go to...
As you can probably appreciate, banks don't always advertise their best offers - so to ensure you are achieving the best result for you it makes sense to approach at several lenders. This is where we come in. We have access to numerous lending institutions, not just your current bank, and can negotiate and compare on your behalf for the best result. We also know what lenders are offering other clients - which comes in handy!
Are you really impartial?
Absolutely! Not only are we are bound by Financial Markets Authority (FMA) guidelines, we also want to make sure you get the best result for your circumstances. We do not favour any lender or financial institution - and will only recommend ones that are a great fit for your needs.
Can you come to me?
Sure we can. We cover Wellington, Porirua, Kapiti, Lower and Upper Hutt. We are completely mobile, and can even assist clients outside of the Wellington region if you are a bit further afield!
If you can access lots of lenders do I need to fill in numerous applications?
No! Just one application is required, and we can use this for multiple lenders.
I'm in a rush and can't meet with you. Are you still able to assist?
Indeed we can. We can conduct meetings by telephone / Skype or whatever works best for you. These days it has never been easier! So, if tight for time head over here.
I'm currently living overseas. Are you still able to help?
Yes we can. From finding legal help, to locating a suitable property we can help you through the whole process. Just let us know what you'd like to achieve and we'll assist all we can.
My bank has already turned me down. Is it worth contacting you?
Yes, it definitely is. Sometimes banks haven't understood your circumstances properly, or maybe your application hasn't been presented as favourably as possible. Whatever the reason, touch base with us via our 2min quick application and we will look into it for you. With so many providers to choose from we can increase your chances instantly!
I haven't received up-to-date financials yet. Does that rule me out?
Not necessarily! Contact us and we will assist where we can.
Ok - so how good are your interest rates?
As mentioned, banks never advertise their best deals. As we arrange millions of dollars of lending we can see exactly what discounts are achievable.. We don't set the rates - the banks do this. However, we always negotiate these on your behalf to ensure you get the best result.
Do I pay for your service? If so, how much?
We are almost exclusively paid by the lender/bank via a commission/brokerage - so it is highly likely you would not pay us for our services. On the rare occasion where we would charge a fee (e.g. if completing work that does not receive a commission payment) we would discuss and agree this fee with you prior to starting the work. Commission payments are made following the drawdown of your loan.
